The colors are vibrant and overall it looks like what I expected. The decal I received differed slightly from the picture. There are a mix of white and light blue stars. The comets are also white. The photo looks like they are all a light blue.I found the rocket to be miserably difficult to place without wrinkles. I have bought a few of these wall decals and they were easier to deal with. The larger the decal the trickier to apply. When it works right it almost looks like it was painted on. The rocket is a single piece and even with an extra pair of hands we could not get this on smoothly. Lots of wrinkles. Maybe applying it vertically (rather than on a diagonal), it would have been easier to drape onto the wall. We just could not get gravity to work with us. Repositioned it several times which I think made it worse. The material allows a little stretch to it. Subtle, but I think it led to more wrinkles with each attempt. My son won't notice, but I do.To do it over again, I think I might have used an Xacto knife and cut this into two or three segments to make it more manageable.
